1) What ToShareAMeal is

ToShareAMeal helps solo travelers and locals coordinate small group meals in public restaurants in New York City.

2) What ToShareAMeal is not

Not a dating service
No public profiles, photos, or private messaging
No public ratings of people

3) Core rules

Meet only at public restaurants
Respect boundaries and personal comfort
AA split by default (each pays their share)
You may leave anytime; no explanation required
Harassment, coercion, or repeated boundary violations are not allowed

Off-platform conduct

Users acknowledge that ToShareAMeal is not responsible for communications or conduct that occur outside of the platform. Any exchange of personal contact information is voluntary and done at the user’s own discretion.

4) Safety feedback and enforcement

Feedback about restaurant experiences may be public. Feedback about people is private and used to identify patterns.

We may limit or remove access for repeated violations, including payment issues and uncomfortable behavior.

5) Refunds

Membership fees are non-refundable once a meal has been joined or created.

If you cancel before participating in any meals, you may request a refund within 48 hours of purchase.

Accounts restricted due to repeated rule violations are not eligible for refunds.
