Host FAQ

Do I need to pay for everyone’s meal?

No. Unless a table listing explicitly says otherwise, each guest pays the restaurant directly for their own order.

Is hosting hard?

It’s simple: pick a public restaurant, set the time, welcome people, and keep the table respectful and inclusive.

Is this a dating platform?

No. Hosts help protect the core: meaningful social dining in public restaurants — shared meals and real conversations. Hosts are expected to lead with kindness, respect, and inclusivity, and to follow our community guidelines so every table feels safe, welcoming and respectful.
