ToShareAMeal exists for the meals that never happen because one person would have to arrange them. We removed the organiser instead of celebrating them.

Real restaurants, real times
Every table points at a listed venue with an actual date. Suggested tables help new cities start, and only become real when a diner adopts one.
Honest signals
A seat means you're coming. Removing “maybe” is the single rule that makes a stranger's table worth showing up to.
The meal is the introduction
You choose a restaurant, not a person. Everything social follows from having already chosen the same thing.
Small tables, small commitments
Three to six people, one evening. Anything more elaborate is a barrier disguised as a feature.
Less data, less risk
Adult attestation instead of dates of birth. Public projections instead of exposed diner details.
Where we are
ToShareAMeal is early. Cities begin as a set of suggested tables at real restaurants, and become live the moment somebody adopts one. Circles, richer venue pages and reservation support are being built on the same foundation rather than bolted on beside it.
Imagery across the site is temporary and marked as placeholder until final photography is in place.
